August is ending soon.
and mid-sem is knocking on the door.
my first & only mid-sem paper is on sat.
been mugging for it. hopefully it will pay off.
mugging aside i have had a fair share of fun too.
i have watched GI Joe and The Orphan.
The Orphan a horror movie was quite a standout.
i love horror movies anyway. :)
Went for Ekka a few weeks back.
Ekka is an annual show in Queensland.
It like a sort of carnival and really huge.
there was animals,performances,food stalls and amusement rides.
spent about 8 hours there.
explored, eat, snapping photos and going on amusement rides.
i had so much fun that i felt quite sick and tired out on the way back home.
It was really an eye-opener for me about the culture and all.
I have actually got some pictures i wanted to post.
but blogger takes a long time to upload so i posted them on fb instead.
there's actually somemore stuff to blog about. the next time then.
i needa go back and continue mugging!

My first entry away from home.
i have been here for almost a month.
orientation ended & school has started.
pretty much settled in.
Thank you for everyone who have been asking! ;)
Brisbane is quite a nice place.
considering that i live in the city. (somewhat like orchard in sg)
so everything is quite accessible.
i have been to a few places so far.
short-trip to gold coast, casino, etc...
oh and watching movies here are cheaper than in sg.
even the popcorns are cheaper! lol.
i watched harry potter the 2nd week i was here.
Looking forward to more interesting things.
Anyway, i have been keeping updating & reading all your blogs.
i can't read on a regular basis cos i have to watch my internet usage.
internet is about the only inconvinent thing here.
too spoiled by all the unlimited wireless internet in sg.
basically, i can't d/l songs, can't stream videos, etc..
which means no youtube or any other streaming sites!
but nevermind, there is always MSN! =)
Alright, i will be back to update soon!
Gotta go cook lunch.

It the time of the year again.
the second numeric of the double digit jumps a level up.
meaning i am another year older.
added responsibility.
sometimes it scares me.
the additional digit that is.
but hey that's life.
everyone grows up.
anyway, last saturday a bunch of my friends gave me an early birthday surprise.
i didn't know they would.
and i was really touched when they brought the cake in.
Thanks folks for making time to plan and gather this.
I really appreciate all your efforts. :)
Had lunch with aunt's family on sunday.
a birthday treat from my aunt.

like always it was great spending time together. :)
Went out for dinner with my family today.
and mum baked a cake for me like every year.
it was strawberry cheesecake this year.
Dad got me a wonderful present too.
it means alot to spend birthday with my family. :)

i truly appreciate everything.

Graduation
[Graduation was good. It was nice seeing the others. It been awhile. 3 years on and i have officially graduated. Those 3 years were good with majorly happy moments etched in my memories. That night we had a graduation party too and most attended, it was great celebration and we all had a good time and good laughs catching up, looking at past photos and videos, playing games, snapping away on cameras with blinding flashes and the food too was great. It a night i will remember for a long time to come. Scanning across the room i could see the smiles on every face, i realised how much they have all matured. We have all grown and learnt so much together. i am glad being part of such a great class and fantastic bunch of people. Thank you!
Time to move on.
